WHAT TO EXPECT

Fully up and running, with a queue.

The bench is fully set up and demand has been high since we opened, so here is how long a repair takes and how the queue works.

Timing

Most repairs are back with you within two to three weeks of the card reaching us. A part we have to order in adds the time it takes to arrive, which we tell you as soon as we know.

The queue

Cards are repaired in the order they arrive, with no paid way to skip the queue at the moment.

Updates

The repair page we send you shows where the card is at every stage, with a message from us whenever something changes.

Getting started

Find your card, see its fixed price and tell us what happened, with nothing charged at the booking stage.

Find your card and get started

Not sure what is wrong with it? The self-diagnostic tool narrows it down in a couple of questions.

What every repair comes with

  • The price is fixed and quoted upfront, so the figure you agree before posting the card is the figure you pay.
  • If the repair is not successful, you pay nothing for our work. You can have your card returned at your expense, or donate it to us as unrepairable.
  • Payment comes after the repair is done and tested, never before you know the outcome.
  • We pay the return by Royal Mail Tracked 48 on a successful repair, with a faster service available at the payment stage for the difference.
  • Every repair carries a 90 day warranty covering the fault we fixed and the area we worked on.
  • You get photographs of what we find, so the diagnosis is something you can see rather than something you take on trust.

These apply to every repair we take on and are set out in full in our Policies and Terms.
